Review highlights
Based on 4,136 reviewsVisitors to L'Alegria de l'Horta consistently praise its scenic beachfront location and pleasant terrace atmosphere, making it a popular spot for enjoying Mediterranean and Spanish rice dishes like paella and fideuà. The menu is noted for fresh ingredients, generous portions, and flavorful seafood specialties. While the food quality is generally well-regarded, some diners feel it falls short of exceptional. Service tends to be friendly and accommodating, though occasional lapses during busy times have been observed. Overall, L'Alegria de l'Horta is appreciated for its inviting ambiance, solid cuisine, and attentive staff, particularly valued for flexibility during late hours, creating a reliable choice for those seeking a relaxed beachside dining experience.
This is a great beach restaurant. We had a lovely starter of artichoke with prawns followed by a very nice fideua marisco. Service was great and we were right by the beach on a beautifully sunny December day! Since it was so warm today I finished with a cafe del tiempo!
Food is amazing, but service could be better The food was absolutely delicious! The paella was spot-on, the octopus perfectly tender, and the Russian salad hearty and full of flavor. It seemed like the staff was a bit overwhelmed at lunchtime: our dish was mixed up with another order, the cutlery for the paella was forgotten (we grabbed it ourselves), and we had to ask for the bill a couple of times — finally getting it after the third reminder, about 15 minutes later. The atmosphere is nice, but without air conditioning it can get quite warm during hot midday hours.
Food Quality: quite nice snacks. Freshly made and good ingredients. Portions: very good amount of food. Drinks: fresh juices, softdrinks, coffee items, etc. Price: $$ not too bad Service: friendly and very nice Atmosphere: amazing terrace to enjoy the sun and the view. Highlights: good snacks and a great view. Payment Method: cc, cash
Food is good but not outstanding. We had seafood paella and some desserts. Service is good as well. We got many recommendations for this place so we went there with high expectations but I think it's overrated. For sure good place for lunch, especially when you're spending day on the beach but if you want something "Wow", I would suggest to check other places ;)
This place let us eat our dinner at 23.45, no any else restaurant in that area was willing to let us eat, just for this my valuation is 5 stars, we had paella Valenciana and it was tasty, the service was kind and fast, a beautiful restaurant to visit.
